Blog entry # 2.2- product analysis 1(A)

1. What holiday/event does the card represent? 
This holiday represent New Years.
2. What type of images are used – photos, cartoons or graphics? How do the images used connect to the holiday/event?
This card uses a little bear with stars around it and an angle bear with a wand next to it. this is a cartoon. This image does not connect to the holiday.
3. In your opinion, is the cover of the card attention-grabbing? Explain exactly why or why not. Consider the arrangement of elements as well as use of images, color and text.
This card is attention -grabbing  because of the cute little bear on the front but then again it doesn't relate to the holiday so it puts you in a confused thought if you really want to buy it because it doesnt relate to the holiday. 
4. What text is written on the front of the card? Where is it located on the front?
The text on the front of the card says," Short and sweet, warn and sincere..." the text is located on the top middle of the card.
5. What text is written inside the card? Where is it located inside the card?
The text on the inside of the card say," A wish for you- "happy new year!" "  this is located on the right page,  in the middle.
6. In your opinion, does the text inside the card connect to the image(s) on the cover? Explain exactly why or why not.
The text on the inside does not connect to the image on the out side of the card because the card is on new years but the picture on the put side is talking about the bear and how short and sweet, warm and sincere the bear is. it just does not connect to the card or holiday for that matter.
7. What types of information appears on the back of the card? (Do not copy it exactly!)
The information on the back tells you the name of the studio they designed it from and where it was printed.
8. To what consumer is this card targeted? (Consider age group, gender, race and/or religion.) What about the design led you to this conclusion?
The type of consumer this card is targeted to is probably towards the age group between 2-5, and girls.
